It was a pretty horrific feeling I got as I was driving home down St. Charles. I saw a tower of smoke and a Coast Guard helicopter dumping water on my house. Oh well, at least I am alive. But as I drove closer, I realized it was the historic Coliseum Theater, 1/2 a block from me. So I hauled ass, picked up my camera and Super 8 and shot it. Only I was transfixed by a young girl playing in the stray water provided by the fire hydrant. Almost like the sunflower and waterlines, we found joy from tragedy.
